The European Alliance in Defence of Palestinian Detainees, congratulates MP Khalida Jarrar for her freedom.
In a statement issued by the European Alliance in Defence of Palestinian Detainees, the General Coordinator of the Alliance, Dr. Khaled Al-Hamad, said: "All congratulations to the activist MP Khalida Jarrar for her freedom. And with more joy ; the European Alliance received the news of the release of the activist Khaleda Jarrar after more than twenty months She was in the Israeli occupation jails. In the same statement, the European Alliance in Defence of Palestinian Detainees ,affirmed that in contrary to international law and human rights conventions,the Israeli occupation forces arrested Palestinian activist and MP in the Palestinian Legislative Council Khaleda Jarrar using administrative detention law, ignoring the diplomatic immunity and protection guaranteed by international laws and treaties. The general coordinator of the European Allianc , Dr. Khalid Al-Hamad, said that this arbitrary measure, which is due to the British Mandate laws, allows the Israeli occupation authorities to arrest the activists for no reason other than accusing them of threatening the security of the state. Under this charge , they have been arrested and sentenced. Finally, as every time the will of the Palestinian activists triumphs over their captors from the Israeli jailers. Here is the courageous fighter Khaleda Jarrar who wins over her prisoners and wins her steadfastness for her people and for the steadfast prisoners , breathing the air of freedom between her people .
